Limited equipment to work out? Look no further!

Right now the best thing we can do for ourselves is stay healthy. Continuing to eat healthy, exercise, and get rest should be top priorities when you are able.

Soo...What to do when you are limited on your options to exercise?

Get outside if you can, go for a walk, a run, get your blood flowing and your feet moving!
Use rocks, benchs or monkey bars to create some obstacles and make things interesting and challenging. You can use benches or low walls for step ups, dips, and pushups.

If you are stuck inside here are some great options:

If you have a stationary bike: Check out Global Cycling Network for a free option for cycling videos. Or for a monthly fee you can use Peleton, The Sufferfest, or Zwift to keep you motivated during your workouts.

If you have a treadmill: Apps like The Sufferfest and Zwift also have running options. Or try this workout.

If you are limited on space and equipment. Try using parts of your house to implement workouts. The more you move the better you feel.
Have a flight of stairs in the house? Run up and down them 2 times then do 2-3 groups of exercises at the bottom of the stairs. Pushups, situps, body weight squats are all useful with no equipment. Or use what you have. Bands for rows, kettlebell swings and rows and overhead presses, bosu or swiss ball situps or pikeups.

For example:
Run up and down the stairs 2 times then perform the following circuit...
Kettlebell Swings 10 reps
Pushups 10 reps
Swiss Ball Pikeup or Crunch: 10 reps
Repeat 3-6 times for a full body workout!
You can change up the circuit exercises with whatever equipment you have on hand, or just use body weight!

And of course, if you have tile floors in your house there is always this...

Take care of yourselves and stay active! Movement is good for the mind, the body and the soul. All you need is a little inspiration!
Keep getting your steps each day and get your heart rate up to keep the blood flowing!

Yours in Health and Fitness,
The Team at PURENERGY.
